Rathika Ramasamy is an Indian wildlife photographer. He works as a freelance photographer. She has received many awards for her photographs and has been called “the first Indian woman to achieve international fame as a wildlife photographer”.Rathika got her first camera from her uncle, himself an amateur photographer.In 2003 she visited Keoladio National Park in Bharatpur and took pictures of birds. He started visiting the Okhla bird sanctuary regularly, studying the behavior of different types of birds. After that, he took up wildlife photography as his professional interest and visited many national parks.

Her wildlife photography was exhibited at the “Clean Ganga Campaign” at the India International Centre, New Delhi in September 2005. In 2007, the annual calendar of Jawaharlal Nehru University featured her bird photographs. Besides participating in wildlife shows, they also conduct wildlife photography workshops.
Rathika is one of the founding members of the Photographic Arts Association of India.

ರಥಿಕಾ ರಾಮಸಾಮಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕಿ . ಅವರು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು “ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರಾಗಿ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮಹಿಳೆ” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಥಿಕಾ ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪ, ಸ್ವತಃ ಹವ್ಯಾಸಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಂದ ಪಡೆದರು .2003 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭರತ್‌ಪುರದ ಕಿಯೋಲಾಡಿಯೊ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಓಖ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಧಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು, ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅದರ ನಂತರ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಅನೇಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಆಕೆಯ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣವನ್ನು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2005 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ , ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ “ಕ್ಲೀನ್ ಗಂಗಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ” ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು . 2007 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕ್ಯಾಲೆಂಡರ್ ಅವಳ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಅವರು ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ರಥಿಕಾ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾಗಿರುವರು.
